On March 22nd 2024, YG-1 announced its new official domain ‘www.yg1.solutions’ that integrates all of its domestic and overseas branches. This domain change is designed to enhance its global brand competitiveness for its overseas market expansion and websites of overseas branches will be unified with the headquarters’ website for operation. In particular, the key word ‘solutions’ used in the domain name aims to establish YG-1’s strong brand identity as a customer-oriented Total Solution Provider. The integrated YG-1 domain will be widely used across the company to improve security and efficiency in line with expanded global cooperation.

In June 2023, YG-1 Seoun Plant was selected for the '2023 Smart Eco-Facility Construction Project' and signed a business agreement with the Korea Environment Corporation. The Smart Eco-Facility Construction Project aims to reduce pollutants, enhance energy and resource efficiency, and create a comprehensive, environmentally friendly model for manufacturing facilities. This includes greenhouse gas reduction and the introduction of intelligent facilities. The project supports companies with up to 1 billion won for facility construction investments, contributing to greenhouse gas reduction and other pollutant mitigation efforts. YG-1 Seoun Plant was chosen as a supported company for this initiative. YG-1 Seoun Plant manufactures cutting tools such as end mills and drills. These products have extensive applications across various industries, including petroleum, shipbuilding, general machinery, automotive, semiconductor, electrical/electronics, aerospace, and medical devices. Due to the nature of manufacturing, the plant consumes a significant amount of electricity and emits pollutants such as oil mist during cutting processes. Through the Smart Eco-Facility Construction Project, the plant will install an Oil Mist Collector to reduce atmospheric pollutants and introduce ICT for monitoring and controlling production processes at a glance, leading to decreased defect rates. Also, the project is expected to contribute to environmental improvement and increase corporate profits by recovering discarded raw materials for resource circulation. Implementing the Smart Eco-Facility Construction Project will help YG-1 Seoun Plant become a pioneering leader in technological and environmental advancements in the industry.

SIMTOS 2022 was reopened after 4 years closing due to COVID-19 outbreak. YG-1 successfully exhibited at SIMTOS 2022 at Ilsan KINTEX, Korea, from May 23rd to 27th. The SIMTOS 2022 was one of the largest on-site exhibitions in Korea since the COVID-19 outbreak. 854 exhibitors from 29 countries participated with 4,825 booths. YG-1 showcased many high-quality cutting tools and presented its diverse lineup to visitors. It primarily focused on introducing new products for the Korean domestic market such as turning inserts - heavy sizes and cermet grades and end mills – E-Force end mill, Alu-cut HPC, TitaNox power, and V7 Plus. Many YG booth visitors showed a lot of interest and responded positively. YG-1 will continue to provide customers the reliable products with excellent quality and services in line with the growing demand and customers’ interest.
