The KSMPE is a highly regarded academic organization dedicated to advancing the study and technology of machine processing and production engineering while contributing to the development of national industries. The Innovation Award recognized YG-1’s exceptional efforts in developing the TitaNox-Power HPC Solid Carbide End Mill for the aerospace industry. This groundbreaking tool addresses the challenges of machining difficult-to-machine materials, earning acclaim for its innovative research and significant achievements in cutting tools. YG-1’s continued commitment to technological innovation drives advancements across various industries.

On March 22nd 2024, YG-1 announced its new official domain ‘www.yg1.solutions’ that integrates all of its domestic and overseas branches. This domain change is designed to enhance its global brand competitiveness for its overseas market expansion and websites of overseas branches will be unified with the headquarters’ website for operation. In particular, the key word ‘solutions’ used in the domain name aims to establish YG-1’s strong brand identity as a customer-oriented Total Solution Provider. The integrated YG-1 domain will be widely used across the company to improve security and efficiency in line with expanded global cooperation.

In June 2023, YG-1 Seoun Plant was selected for the '2023 Smart Eco-Facility Construction Project' and signed a business agreement with the Korea Environment Corporation. The Smart Eco-Facility Construction Project aims to reduce pollutants, enhance energy and resource efficiency, and create a comprehensive, environmentally friendly model for manufacturing facilities. This includes greenhouse gas reduction and the introduction of intelligent facilities. The project supports companies with up to 1 billion won for facility construction investments, contributing to greenhouse gas reduction and other pollutant mitigation efforts. YG-1 Seoun Plant was chosen as a supported company for this initiative. YG-1 Seoun Plant manufactures cutting tools such as end mills and drills. These products have extensive applications across various industries, including petroleum, shipbuilding, general machinery, automotive, semiconductor, electrical/electronics, aerospace, and medical devices. Due to the nature of manufacturing, the plant consumes a significant amount of electricity and emits pollutants such as oil mist during cutting processes. Through the Smart Eco-Facility Construction Project, the plant will install an Oil Mist Collector to reduce atmospheric pollutants and introduce ICT for monitoring and controlling production processes at a glance, leading to decreased defect rates. Also, the project is expected to contribute to environmental improvement and increase corporate profits by recovering discarded raw materials for resource circulation. Implementing the Smart Eco-Facility Construction Project will help YG-1 Seoun Plant become a pioneering leader in technological and environmental advancements in the industry.

SIMTOS 2022 was reopened after 4 years closing due to COVID-19 outbreak. YG-1 successfully exhibited at SIMTOS 2022 at Ilsan KINTEX, Korea, from May 23rd to 27th. The SIMTOS 2022 was one of the largest on-site exhibitions in Korea since the COVID-19 outbreak. 854 exhibitors from 29 countries participated with 4,825 booths. YG-1 showcased many high-quality cutting tools and presented its diverse lineup to visitors. It primarily focused on introducing new products for the Korean domestic market such as turning inserts - heavy sizes and cermet grades and end mills – E-Force end mill, Alu-cut HPC, TitaNox power, and V7 Plus. Many YG booth visitors showed a lot of interest and responded positively. YG-1 will continue to provide customers the reliable products with excellent quality and services in line with the growing demand and customers’ interest. Had a discussion on "2020 Global Trends of Economy, Trade, and Business" and "policies for enterprises to expand their overseas market" On December 16 2019, chairman Hokeun Song attended "World Forum" under the theme of "2020 Global Trends of Economy, Trade, and Business" held by KOTRA at JW Marriott Hotel in Seoul, South Korea. The World Forum holds meetings and seminars regularly to explore global strategies of small and medium-sized enterprises and research trade investment policies. At this event, about 200 people from MOTIE (Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy), KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency), forum members and related employees participated in the presentation and panel discussion. Chairman Song presented at the panel discussion as the head of trade division and discussed on the essential policies for enterprises to expand their overseas market.

YG-1 held "Italy VIP Seminar 2019" from October 7th till October 9th, and "Indonesia VIP Seminar 2019" from 28th to 30th inviting about each 20 customers to enhance YG-1 brand image as a total solution provider and expand local sales. At this event, it successfully promoted YG-1’s technological competence and the high quality of product standards through the factory tour and on-site machining demonstration. Also YG-1 emphasized its role of optimized technical support and solution provider for professional industries such as Aerospace, Die & Mold, Automotive, Composites, and etc. In total, YG-1 conducted 8 VIP seminars in this year, and will reinforce the continuous support and cooperation to customers for increasing productivity and boosting sales.

"CEO conference of cutting tool manufacturers 2019" was held at YG-1 Bupyeong plant on October 22. This is the 4th event which aims to establish a win-win growth system between Korean domestic cutting tool manufacturers through mutual development and cooperation with each other. About 30 people attended this event, including representatives of cutting tool companies, national and local government, they reported about ‘advanced cutting tool technology business performance’, and discussed how to manage CEO conferences for the future. Lastly, they also toured YG-1 Bupyeong Plant. This forum was hosted by YG-1, supervised by Daegu Mechatronics & Materials Institute, and sponsored by "Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy", "Daegu Metropolitan City" and "Korea Evaluation Institute of Industrial Technology"(KEIT).

On November 4, YG-1 won a commendation from the "Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy", for "Technology Expansion" in "World Class 300 Project Merit Award 2019" at Coex convention center, Seoul Korea. YG-1 was recognized as contributing for export market development with its continuous technology development and employment promotion. This ceremony was attended by about 100 people from related and supportive institutes and outstanding small and medium sized enterprises who have high potential for growth and provide good quality of work. Including YG-1, a total of 25 enterprises were awarded by Ministers of Trade, Industry and Energy, and of SMEs (Small and Medium sized Enterprises) and Startups. "World Class 300 Project" is a Korean Government driven project that fosters small and medium sized companies who have capability and potential to grow to world-class level by providing technical support, market development, manpower, funding, consulting and etc. This event was hosted by "Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy" and "Ministry of SMEs and Startups", supervised by "Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology" and sponsored by "Korea Industrial Complex Corporation".
