To provide a one-stop solution for niche and specialized markets, the expanded lineup consists of 7 series and a total of 64 newly added standard items. This market-driven expansion is expected to reinforce YG-1’s competitiveness and responsiveness to the specific needs of the European machining industry. The addition of metric thread mills with a 2.5×D cutting length without internal coolant enhances competitiveness by ensuring stable performance in applications requiring specific tool dimensions and machine compatibility. Enabling Stable High-Feed Machining Under Demanding Cutting Conditions YG-1 has introduced YG904, a new PVD coated milling grade developed to meet the growing challenges of machining difficult-to-cut materials. Engineered with a specially developed substrate and advanced PVD coating technology, YG904 delivers stable and consistent performance in demanding milling environments. The newly developed coating provides exceptional resistance to thermal cracking and maintains reliability under high-impact and unstable cutting conditions. As a result, YG904 grade ensures consistent surface finish, reliable tool life, and process stability. YG-1 Expands HSS-PM Prime Tap Lineup with Internal Coolant Types, Additional Thread Classes, and Standards for the European Market
Comprehensive Expansion for Enhanced Precision and Versatility YG-1 has expanded its Prime Tap product line for the European market, introducing internal coolant types along with additional thread classes and standard across the spiral flute, spiral point, and forming tap series. This expansion offers a broader selection that meets diverse machining conditions and industry standards required in the European market. The internal coolant design delivers cutting fluid directly to the cutting or forming zone, effectively minimizing heat buildup and improving chip evacuation, which enhances tool life and machining stability. The internal coolant spiral flute and forming tap series are also available with short chamfer types, which allow deeper threading near the bottom of the hole. This allows for a longer effective thread length compared to conventional taps, making it especially advantageous for high-precision threading applications.
